A few words about us

Larissa Cornelius (Secretary)
Larissa Cornelius
Larissa has a background in Quality, Operational (Diploma in Operations Management) and Account Management. She is currently M-IT Bid and Business Development Manager who is a certified APMP Foundation Level Professional (2010), constantly striving to improve her Bid and Sales Management Office.
The ability to be creative and push the art of proposal writing is what she fell in love with. She is passionate about this career and this organisation and would be honoured to be more involved, in taking the APMP to the next level.
 
Detlef Jutersonke (Memberships) Detlef Jutersonke

Detlef is an experienced and multi talented National Manager with 27 years active service in the banking sector. He has worked, supervised & managed activities within the following Business Units: Retail Banking, Corporate and Merchant Banking, Projects and Process redesign and Business Banking Services. These activities range from Support functions, Administration, Marketing, Client Service, Process re-engineering and consulting on operational, tactical & strategic levels.

To date he has been responsible for the co-ordination of in excess of 680 proposals to Government and private sector clients. Detlef joined the APMP 2 years ago and has acquired the AM.APMP.
 
 
Christian Figenschou (Accreditation & Training)Christian Figenschou 
Christian has been a member of APMP for more than a year. He heads the Proposals & Presentations team at Standard Bank Corporate and Investment Banking. Since founding the team in 2006, he has successfully won the bank over to the idea of proposal management handled by a dedicated, professional team of specialists. Christian’s background is in journalism, and he has worked as a writer and editor for newspapers such as This Day and The Mail & Guardian, as well as freelancing for a variety of magazines. Christian was a business writer for This Day, and was Chief Sub-Editor for the Mail & Guardian. He was involved in establishing the M&G’s news website, which was the first to publish daily news online in Africa, in 1996. The site won the first ever Digital Loerie award for excellence in online publishing.

Meet the 2011/12 APMP SA Committee
Neil Philipson (Chairperson)
Neil PhilipsonNeil passed the APMP Foundation Accreditation exam on 19 October 2010. He has over twenty years of business experience in the manufacturing, financial and engineering fields. His experience has included establishing branches for two industrial manufacturing entities, achieved a Top Ten Sales award in financial services and has owned a fast food franchise.Currently he is the Proposal Manager for PD Naidoo & Associates Consulting Engineers. The company has over 400 employees, 12 national branches and 3 international offices. He is responsible for all the national and international EoI’s and Tenders. He has a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) and is a Certified Financial Planner (CFP). Neil represented the APMP SA at the USA APMP conference where he also delivered a presentation.


June Jousten (Finance)
June JoustenJune served on the APMP committee in 2010 managing the training portfolio. She passed the foundation level accreditation exam and has over 13 years of experience as a bid manager. She worked for companies such as Arivia, Verizon/MTN and Neotel and currently works for T-Systems. She is a MAP certified candidate and also completed her Professional Skills Development programme (PSDP). She also completed her Diploma in Business Analysis (FTI). She has a passion for the profession as well as working with teams and developing people and systems to run smooth and successful. She is also very involved in community programmes and by means of her network is able to run a number of programmes like feeding schemes.

Shirley Moss (Events)

Shirley Moss

Shirley passed the foundation exam on 19 October 2010. She has 21 years experience in the business environment which includes 11 years within the process engineering field. She is currently an experienced trainer and facilitator in Business Soft Skills, and has recently branched out to open Admast, her own training company. Over the last 10 years she has trained and facilitated many workshops where she has motivated and inspired individuals for change. She has 9 years of being involved in Management Development Programs for GIMT Business School. She is also Certified Business Professional, has a Service Desk Institute Instructor’s certificate, and has a registered ETDP Seta Assessor accreditation.

 



Theresa Monoyoudis (Conference & Communications)
Theresa MonoyoudisTheresa served on the APMP committee in 2010 and 2011 in the membership & eventing portfolios, and passed the foundation exam on 19 October 2010. Theresa is a proposal consultant and marketing director of the proposal consultancy, nFold. She has extensive hands–on experience in the areas of client liaison, sales, marketing, event management, financial administration and business standards management.
